Portfolio EA v3 is now available for MetaTrader 5. The new build runs up to twelve symbols from a single chart and keeps a shared risk budget across all of them, so a cluster of correlated trades can no longer push total exposure past your limit.
Risk is configured per instrument and per basket: you set a maximum lot exposure for each symbol, a portfolio-wide drawdown cap and an optional daily loss stop that flattens everything and pauses trading until the next session.
The correlation filter reads rolling returns over a configurable window and blocks new entries when a candidate symbol is already represented by a highly correlated open position. News pause uses an offline calendar file, so it also works on brokers with restricted web requests.
The package ships with a tested set file for major FX pairs, a quick-start guide and a strategy tester profile for walk-forward runs. Existing customers get the upgrade free of charge — write to us from the contact form and we will send the new build.
